With six locations, 2000 students and 70 professors, Macromedia University is Germany’s leading graduate and postgraduate school for media and communication.
The Bachelor’s programmes Management, Media Management, Media and Communication Design, Film and Television and Journalism cover the whole spectrum of media and management from print to internet, from television to feature film, from design to animation to game design, and the management and marketing of media products.
For international students, Macromedia University offers various English-language Bachelor’s degrees and master’s degrees in media, communication, design and management.

The teaching programme alternates between theoretical lectures and practical project work. Students are encouraged to take responsibility for their own educational career at an early stage. From the outset, they are given the opportunity to engage with leading media figures who are linked with Macromedia University as guest lecturers and project sponsors.

Prerequisite for the Master‘s programme is a Bachelor‘s degree with 210 ECTS. Macromedia University of Applied Sciences offers the Pre-Semester for those who have a Bachelor‘s degree with 180 ECTS where they can attain 30 ECTS and get optimal preparation.
